INGREDIENTS
160g Butter
125ml Golden Syrup
260g Brown Sugar
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp
Pepper & Me Bakers Blend
3 Tbsp
Pepper & Me Ginger Spice Mix
1 Egg
250ml Milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Grease & line a loaf tin, set aside
Melt the butter, golden syrup & brown sugar in a small saucepan
Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, Bakers Blend & Ginger Spice to a large bowl. Wish together
Stir the milk into the wet ingredients, then whisk in the egg
Pour the wets into the drys & wish until smooth
Pour into the greased tin and bake at 170C for 1 hour
