Chicken Pie with Hash Bites

 Bin Inn Chicken Pie with Hash Bites

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 25g butter
  • 600g Chicken breast or thigh, diced
  • 3 Tbsp Pepper & Me Dude Ranch
  • 1 tsp Man Grind
  • 300g Frozen Spinch
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup can
  • 2 Tbsp Pepper & Me Fry-Yay Seasoning
  • 3 Squares frozen puff pastry
  • 500g potato gems/hash bites

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add butter to a large pan & melt over medium heat, add onion and saute for a couple of minutes to soften
  2. Add chicken & cook for 3-4 minutes
  3. Add Dude Ranch and Man Grind and stir to coat
  4. Sprinkle over Fry Yay and cook for a minute or so
  5. Defrost spinach in the microwave & squeeze out excess water, then add to the pan
  6. Add milk and cream, stir well and simmer over a medium heat for 5 minutes to thicken
  7. Line a pie dish or large casserole dish with defrosted pastry
  8. Spoon filling into the lined dish & fold in any excess pastry then top with the potato gem hash browns
  9. Bake at 180C fan bake
